Football not a priority for Foran: Hasler

Canterbury coach Des Hasler won't even think about trying to lure Kieran Foran to Belmore until he is sure the troubled NRL star has addressed personal issues.

Foran last month walked away from a $5 million NRL deal with Parramatta and he has already been linked with a move to Canterbury under former mentor Hasler.

Hasler says Foran's mental health is a priority and he doesn't expect the halfback to decide his playing future until he is in a better frame of mind.
